Is it time to cut our losses? Since his purple patch ended in round 7 he's scored 65, 82, 86 and 57. Down to $437k and a BE of 119... starting to feel like he should be the one to make way for Zorko and not Kerridge

TBH he played pretty well on the weekend but the ridiculous 8 FA cost him SC wise.
Would only trade him if you had no other major concerns and a decent amount of trades left.
+1 he just gives away to many frees, so frustrating, previous week when he scored 86 should have been a 120+ but just gives away points. Was 47 at quarter time on Saturday, had another 10 touches, goal and a few tackles all for 10 points

It actually stumps me as to whether I should laugh or cry when I hear these sort of comments...
Greene is a forward capable of averaging 100 for the remainder of the season. He's fit, he's in a decent side and has been playing reasonably well. He was averaging 95 from rounds 1-6 and since then has played 5 games, 4 of which have been against top 6 sides. His next 5 games, by comparison, will be against 4/5 bottom-6 sides.

As I stated, people floating these suggestions must be sitting very pretty re: trades and completed teams to be able to afford the luxury.

Me on the other hand, I'm praying for my rucks to get up to avoid a third donut in as many weeks...

Fair enough! Thanks for nipping that in the bud all :)

Only reason I raised this was my desire to get at least one of Zorko/Dahl/Martin into my forward line and I felt out of my array of 85-90 averaging forwards (Hall, Greene, Barlow, Kerridge, Wells) Greene had dropped off the most recently (sans Hall but I'm a firm believer a week off soon to rest that shoulder will see him back in top flight). Admittedly I haven't seen many GWS games and if its just free kicks/undisciplined acts and quality opposition that have cost him then I'm more than happy to stand by him and eventually move Kerridge on once that 126 drops out of his rolling average

I wonder who stuck with him and who did a sideways?  ::)

Is trading Hall to Greene worth it?

I have both and probably not. Greene's too inconsistent... Isn't in the midfield often enough. Though GWS has a pretty good run home. Can you find the 50k to get montagna instead?

I went tipa to Greene. Already 40pts up and only spent $42k. Seemed a no brainer. I'm going to have him and hall rotating between f6/7. Both have the ability to pump out 120s and Greene is still unique
