Yes I know this may be controversial but starting this topic for the benefiT of others who may wish to post something:

From my family history:

Lest we forget.............

Herbert Richard Hayes â€" 15th Battalion & 4th Brigade. Landed at Gallipoli late in the afternoon on the 25th of April 1915 where he fought til his death on the 27th of August 1915. Commemorated on panel 46 at the Lone Pine Memorial.

Walter Alexander Francis - 9th Field Artillery Brigade. Fought in the campaigns of Messines, Broodeseinde, Passchendaele, Hamel, Amiens, Mont St Quentin & the Hindenburg Line. Returned home to die of war injuries 16th March 1932.

William John Francis â€" 5th Light Horse Regiment. Fought in the campaigns of Gallipoli, Egypt & Gaza including the Battle of Beersheba the last successful cavalry charge in history on the 31st of October 1917. Returned home.

Andrew Johnson Brown â€" 9th Battalion. Fought in the campaign of Pozieres. Returned home.

Herbert Andrew William Brown â€" 47th Australian Infantry Battalion. Fought in World War II losing his life on the 14th of August 1943 in New Guinea. Buried in the Lae War Cemetry.
