I am not getting ahead of myself after the showdown win on the weekend but I have encountered people who say port have a way better list and then I get others saying the crows have a much better list.

Im a huge fan of the crows side, im really loving there forward line. Betts, Jenkins, Walker, lynch are all capable of kicking bags

Peoples opinions are naturally gonna be swayed after Adelaide just belted Port a few days ago..
I rate rate Adelaides forward line much higher than ports, but I rate ports midfield higher than Adelaides and I think both of their back lines are pretty average. I would have Adelaide ahead all up but if the score had of been reversed on the weekend I probably would have said otherwise.

Same as the Treloar debate between Richmond and Collingwoods list. Collingwood win by a point and now everyone says he was right lol

Admittedly port were missing Hartlett, Schulz, Ryder, Monfries, Krakouer, and Matt White on Saturday.

I'd lean towards Port's whole list (including the above half dozen) because of the top - from the top 5 players between the teams I'd go with Gray, Boak, Wingard, Wines, and Sloane, obviously meaning four port players and one crow (if that all makes sense).

But Adelaide certainly deserved the win on Saturday and probably will finish higher this season.

I'd probably rate Port's list slightly higher once you include Ryder. Names on paper mean nothing though if you don't perform on the field and although it's early, Port look like they could throw away another season if they don't sort things out quickly.

Troll alert:

This user, Phil5158, slandered Port's list in 2013 trying to get people to compare it to Adelaide's during the H&A season and then conspicuously disappeared during the 2013 Finals series and for all of 2014 & 2015...

Now he's back - obviously only comes online when Port are doing poorly & Adelaide are obviously the better side...

Learn from your mistakes mate... teams fluctuate... they go through cycles or good and form forms and strong and weak lists...

What I want to know is why you are so focused on Port Adelaide... you seem more obsessed with the club than I am, and I'm a Port supporter...

Even when the club is doing well you disappear and like a groundhog wait for spring...

Why are you so focused on your side in comparison to Port (Port supporters don't sit around thinking "are we currently better than the Crows"). Why not compare your side to the benchmark club like everyone else... Hawthorn (the Crows are getting close in their current form)?

I honestly think the showdown is an entertaining spectacle (besides this season when we were completely retched - they should have apologised to Port & Crows fans alike for putting on that display - no to take anything away from the Crows). My only issues with the Crows were with certain players (all of whom have retired and the remaining one, i.e. Dangerfield, has gone), besides that I don't really have any issues with the club (my issues are usually with their supporters attacking Port Adelaide), in fact I supported the Crows against Collingwood in the 2009 Semi Final and against the Hawks in the 2012 Prelim.

Yes they are considered rivals... based on geographical location and Port's exit from the SANFL... but besides that any issue you have with Port Adelaide seems to be your problem (I honestly get the impression that you are out to get them hahahaha)
