Hewett to Ruggles
Crouch to Zaha
keeping what cash I have saved for next week, could of bought better but if Zaha can maintain 100 avg from here to the byes atleast , i'll be content with that.
Did similar, traded M.Brown instead of Hewett for Ruggles.

Got Zaha in as well for Crouch, didn't have the guts to pick him in limited trade formats and didn't want to miss out if he keeps this up so got him in AF.

130k left for an upgrade/downgrade next week hopefully.

Hoping next week I can grab one of the elite mids by going Zaha this week, I could miss by a few grand though that's the worry.
If I do a double downgrade next week i'll grab them the week after and have another bank account building.
Get them rookies off your field and the midpricers failing us (Crouch) your worst scorers out and find a guy that can do a job for awhile.

Fill up asap is what it's about then start going sideways to the best of the best on any line.  Use the rookies coming in to build a bank account because we'll probably see more rookies early than later in the year if you can't make a substantial improvement to your team in any week but keep the gems making cash fast, they fast track you to better things.

Late in the season you sell your grandmother to find cash haha i'm not lying the kids too, a bench don't matter you need one guy to get some points if you have a late out and trade the player if misses another, two trades a week you gotta make them count.

Wasn't a fan of AF early days but it's grown on me, takes some homework to get it right. I have the plan I think but haven't executed it well enough, rank ok except for last year(won't talk about it) but i'm not getting it done at the pointy end 300- 500 overall is a long way off.

I watched the guys team that won it last year from round 6 or 7, he played it perfectly and from round 11 he was full up it was his to lose he did it that easy. Then he went sideways to the best 2nd half of the year. I was convinced haha.

The thing I hate the most is the week you have to sideways a prem through injury, you hold in the 30 trade comps if it's only temporary, here it hurts you more it's a wasted trade , it's a trade your not making cash or improving I dislike it lol.
If you can't bring in a better player how can you make money should be your primary thought every week.

Still hold faith in the plan but haven't nailed the starting team again this year. Not out of the question but i'll need to nail it from here for sure. A good rank, beat Dudge will have to do haha.
Not happy really, with all the midpricers this year, there was a big opportunity to nail the starting team I felt but still got some wrong, Hunter and Duncan good, Crouch brothers BAD (start Zaha in ones place  :o ), Lonergan over Rosa ( to be fair Rosa didn't play round 1) Hall very good starter.
Barlow cough cough start Zerret instead. Could of done alot better with the starting team AGAIN.

Johannisen, Biggs, Rance, Adams, Gwilt, Dea
Smitchell, Hunter, Zaharakis, Scully, Ross, W Langford, Oxley, Parish
Naitanui and Hickey/Roughead
ZMerrett, Tippett, Hall, TJ Lynch, Daniel, Lambert

I think that would have fit under the cap
all decently ranked by overall points so far (NOT including Sunday's games in rd4 as they haven't been played)

We need to get Rnd 5 Trades up and running  :'( , I wanted a double downgrade this week. Fat chance that'll happen now more sideways stuff again with JJ and possibly Martin (Lions) if he doesn't get up. Longer and Seedsman are surviving the chop chop because of other dramas every week. 5 trades wasted on injuries going sideways out of 10 trades available for five rounds has kept/keeping them in and I want them OUT. Get out, no the other door, no not that one the other one, NO the other arghhh just forget it ya flogs.
