Anyone tell me why he is scoring so well?

Averaging 90 and plays for for the high scoring dogs?

Anyone looking at him at $330k ish?

Too pricey and too risky IMO, not worth trading him in since I doubt he will be a keeper and the cash generation wont be nearly as good as a rookie.

I'll only look at him if Brad Crouch is out again

Sir Daniel of Caleb, will arguably end up as the greatest player of all time.

After Sir Tomiffer Rockliff of course.

The guy is a jet, he should be scoring more than he has, Sam Mitchell went to him at the start of the 4th cos he was tearing them up. Just watch the guy play, he's so clean and composed with the ball. I'd be jumping on. Don't play classic but have him in all my draft leagues. Toot toot caileb Daniel

I started the season with him, as you can probably guess.  The commentary said Mitchell went to him at the start of the 4th but that isn't really true, Daniel had been manning Mitchell in contests for most of the day.

Here's what I've seen paying very close attention to him in the first few games:

- He was named as an on baller this week against.. Billy Hartung because he pretty much plays the exact same role as Hartung: he sets up behind all stoppages in the forward half and on the wings and floats back in defense on occasion

- Most of his possies are uncontested: the Dogs love using him to link up all over the ground, particularly through the middle (SC friendly).  Some times you'll find him in a back pocket, other times he'll be deep forward extracting the ball.  He's allowed this freedom because he has a massive tank (16.1 beep?)

- I've yet to see him attend a centre bounce, nor do I think it will happen, he almost always starts forward.

- He is an elite user, but has struggled to get a good DT/SC in the first few games due to a lack of contested possies and a couple of uncharacteristic mistakes.

I see him in a similar vain to JJ: thrives on the uncontested stuff, could be a fast ground specialist at Etihad.  I don't think he's susceptible to a tag due to his insane tank and is ability to play as a utility in any part of the ground.

Keeping up a 90 average would be nice, but I'd peg him closer to 80-85 unless the Dogs continue to be this good.

have a similar thought with another dog, Shane Biggs..avg 91...410k in DEF...tempting but probably too risky..

Raiden

Should have been this week's rising star winner - 29 Possessions, 8 marks, 6 tackles & kicked 1.2 - What a joke, Weitering played good, but this guy @ 168 cm did all this against the reigning premiers....

Can't find it, but there's a meme going around with him trying to punch the ball from behind Ceglar, says something like, "Who left the Auskicker on the ground after half time".  ;D ;D
