Why are topics & polls being deleted?

I understand that there are multiple threads about the same thing but people ask questions and put up polls for there own decisions... which makes them feel more confident you are putting time into helping them. why are things being deleted?

They are being merged or deleted because there are existing topics with polls on the subject.  There have been so many defensive threads started and yet there is one with a poll in existence.

There are 3 defensive topics and polls

Which rookie to bring in

Which mid pricer to cull

Which premo defender to bring in

So basically that covers virtually all scenarios for defenders.  We do not delete or merge thraeds if there is none existing.
