Money Makers - Bank Roll

How much is enough? I'd like to know from you experts what type of bank roll is acceptable at these early stages. Do we plough all our cash into on field talent? Do we have a "balance" and a bit up our sleeves? or do we ride the lightning, run with rookies and have a great war chest?  I think this question helps a lot of people with their up/down/corrective grades. Would really appreciate all your thoughts.

Personally I spend most of mine for the best possible initial team. This year i've started with approx 40k spare, meaning I could have a little bit of flexibility with my rookie picks if I needed corrective trades.
