In the past I have used the stats of previous years for a player to choose players for my team.

With Supercoach GOLD they had (i) ALL the previous years' averages and (ii)number of games played. If they consistently played 20+ games AND there was a upward trend (especially exponential) in their score, I could confidently choose them. But buggered if I can find the stats of previous years now. Anyone know where to find that kinda info???  :o

Cheers

Ah, just answered my own question. You go to the "full profile" part of the player's profile, go down to "player history", then press the "Supercoach" scores and bingo.

But how do you look at a breakdown of a whole year like the 2015 year to see how they trended in the last year?

Would be part of the stats many coaches would look at to assist making their selections along with other info. I doubt it would be the sole source of info many would use. Information is knowledge so coaches will have a variety of stats they choose to use, sites to checkout etc and they search far and wide for them. I was surprised early days at the info coaches would sift through each pre-season but not anymore, some go to great lengths and i'm amazed at what they actually do know and how much.
