According to the news tonight, the Dockers players will select their skipper for 2017 next week.
Will they stick with Mundy, who had the role this season?
Will they vote for Nat Fyfe to take over?
Does the skippers role play any part in whether Fyfe stays or goes?
I don't see a co captains role happening.
There was a lot of conjecture about the vote last time, will the players stick with Mundy?

Mundy said today that he still wants to be skipper, so you'd think he's the front runner to retain after just publicly stating his desire to go on

But it depends on how the players vote.
Remembering there was a certain amount of supposed angst against Fyfe last year. Will the players vote against him is the question.

QuoteMundy wants to captain Fremantle again next season, but he faces a major fight to stave off contender Nat Fyfe.
The player group will vote on the captaincy in January, and Mundy is keen to retain the role despite his torrid first year in the job.
