Devon Smith

What's everyone's thoughts on Devon Smith.  It has been said that he will be spending a lot more time in the midfield this year. .. I think he might be a good pick up this year??

In the past he has had a high ceiling, but struggled with consistency.

Not sure if Treloar going to the pies will affect his scoring though

As everyone always says in preseason, 'certain player will play in position a as well as position b and we might play him through position c'

What position does he play? Most likely only one of those, and for Devon and the crazy depth the Giants have through the middle - Ward, Shiel, Coniglio, Greene, Griffen, Scully, Steele, Whitfield, Kelly, Hopper etc, I don't think the quoted 'a lot more time in the midfield' will really eventuate to much more than a few centre bounces. Here to be proven wrong though.

Plus, he is a pretty insane player up forward, some of the things him and Stevie J could get upto this year, wow

He and Greene are fighting it out for F4 in my squad, leaning towards Greene at this stage.

No harm in waiting and seeing how he goes before bringing  him in as an upgrade target
