Jamar is just an insurance policy in case Leuenberger gets injured. They have no other pure ruck on the list, he was there as a ruck coach so now he can play in the VFL. The thing that has me worried with Leuenberger is the talk of an achilles flair up.

My thoughts too Mat. I would be shocked if that's not the case.

With Jamar on the list Leuy could be "managed" on a regular basis. Don't want him if he misses every 4th game!

He's not going to miss every 4th game. The achilles either goes early in the season like it did a couple years back or they give him an extended layoff to get it right. It's something we will know within the first couple of weeks of the season. Lids is probably a good example, he struggled early, the let him rest up and he came back and played basically the rest of the season. He managed to get through most of 2013 unscathed, 2014 he got injured and 2015 they played him out of position. It seems to be a bi-yearly injury so it's likely to go this year again.
