I've started simmo the last few years, but won't this year

Laird is the new simmo without the stinkers

What stinkers? Laird played more stinkers than simmo last year

He is right RD. Laird had 4 games sub 70. Simmo had 1

A game between 70 and 80 IMO isn's classified as a horrible game. It is below par and can be made up with bigger scores which Simmo has a better track record than laird long term. FWIW neither are in my side. I am hesitant to pick Simpson as I don't know how bad Carlton will be this year and how that will affect him.

We were pretty putrid last year. We basically had 10 weeks of dead year with Mick at the helm and he seemed to hold steady on the average. The only issue with Simmo is he needs his mid minutes to pump up the score a little. I don't know if he will get those looking at our structure, but with the way we are actually setting up he might get a few more intercept marks to supplement this. I can't see him dropping under 90, but without an actual look of how we structure up come regular season I can't pick any big money Carlton players yet.

One positive for Simmo is Bolton's introduction of the Hawthorn style high possession game plan.

I started with him in my team, totally discounted him and now am reconsidering him :P
