First Team of 2016 - Strong Start?

let me know what you think...I've taken some risk in the rucks, which isn't ideal but it's eeeeeeearly days!

Haven't done much research into rookies yet so they're basically placeholders.

Def: Interesting. A few POD's there, could do you nicely. I like it

Mid: Strong, well balanced. Trengove is a risk as is Woodward, but other than that fairly solid.

Ruck: Mumford and Leuy is a huge risk together.  Mostly Leuy, though.  The price is right, but he's a consistent burner.

Fwd: Wells also a risk but could be valuable.  Forwards are strong.

Yeah I think it will be better to downgrade wines to o'meara and then upgrade leuey...

Less risk and o'meara > leuey in terms of upside

My one concern with that team is that you have two injury prone Ruckmen and no cover. Apart from that I like it with some nice pods. Wines could be a great or a very poor pick. He as potential but doesn't handle a tag well. Zorko last season didn't score well when both Rocky and Beams were playing (avg 89) just thought I would let you know.

Yeah I had wines as my POD last year and he started off really well until getting injured...looks like the cat's out of the bag on wines and a bunch of people are taking the risk on him which makes it less fun..either way there are lots of great players around that price.

I like your ruck although I would consider making either Barlow or Zorko in to Tippett. Mumford killed it this year before being injured and is a big chace to do same again and give you the chance to sideways trade to Goldy plus score plenty of points. Tippett as well as being ruck cover I'm expecting to capitalize on the Swans easy start to the season and score very well early. Cheers and all the best mate.     ;)
