Supercoach is my game, help?

G'day all,

I am very confident picking a Supercoach team, not so much an AFL fantasy team. First and foremost, is anyone able to give me a brief run down of the differences between AF and SC?

This is what my team looks like right now, feedback is required, please pick this team apart:

D: McVeigh, Bartel, Yeo, Smith, Bonner, Brown (Dawson, Brown)
M: Pendles, T-Mitch, Fyfe, Rockliff, Ablett, Crouch, Parish, Cuningham (Sumner, Morabito)
R: Martin, Leuenberger (Currie, West)
F: Martin, Barlow, Merrett, Bird, Kerridge, Petracca (Adams, Hams)

That is a good team for at this time of the year especially if SC is your game.

For DT all you want to care about is possessions. You want as many ball hogs in your team as you can. It doesn't even matter if their disposal is crappy. If they get a lot of the pill, you will want them.

I'd be getting rid of Dawson and whichever Brown isn't the Essendon one. There's nothing to be gained by picking them.

Better mid bench options out there than Sumner and Mora.

Aside from that it's looking pretty good.

Thanks for explaining that to me Barra! I thought so, hence my selection of Tom Mitchell over Selwood, Sloane, JPK, Priddis, etc.
A question then, could Lachie Neale potentially be a better pick than one of the big SC guns, let's say Fyfe or Pendles? Ablett and Rocky are locks regardless of the format.

Thanks Mr. Craig. I'll fine tune the mid bench closer to the start of the season. As for Dawson and Brown (WCE), I feel like they have very good JS, which is why they are currently in the team, but once again, they are likely not to play round 1 for me. Both very poor scorers.

Don't discount any of those players you named. All will probably be over the 100 mark I reckon.

I am expecting Tom Mitchell to explode this year.
