So you're telling me if Carlton had the choice between Mitch McGovern and Jake Stringer, you'd be more happy if the Blues got Gov Jnr?

Carlton would take Jake Stringer as we have no key forwards, but I think that Gov Jr has more potential and personally would be more happy to have Gov.

That's because he's the superior talent ;D

But #7 row named, fantastic considering the talented under 22's who haven't played much yet at West Lakes 8)

But really, I just want to talk about Jakey Lever 8) WHAT A PLAYER

Jukes

I'll copy mine over to here:

FB: Laird, Weitering, Williams
HB: Mills, Maynard, Docherty
M: Coniglio, Merrett (c), Viney
HF: Moore, Daniher, Heeney
FF: Stringer, Hogan, Wright
R: Grundy, Bontempelli, Cripps
Int: Vlastuin, Wines, Hunter, Fantasia

flowering sexy forward and midfield lines right there

Nige

Zero chance Vlastuin makes it over some of the other names listed.

Mat0369

Doc, Weits, Laird
Williams, Lever, Mills
Hunter, Cripps, Merrett
Petracca, Daniher, Heeney
Moore, Hogan, Stringer
Grundy, Bont, Viney (C)
Hunt, Wines, Conigs, Membrey

The forward line was the hardest to pick. I tried to pick a team similar to a real one with a mix of talls and smalls, but then I felt wrong leaving out one of Daniher or Moore. The last forward spot I couldn't figure out on the bench, but I went with Membrey based on this years form although a couple of guys have better ceilings.

Josh Kelly was also stiff not to get in the midfield.

That is the most useless thing in the world. So many players get drafted on it, retain their place on lists because of it, and many of them amount to precisely nothing. Gov has shown a few promising signs but Stringer has already been named All Australian and kicked the 5th most goals in the AFL last year. You'd have to be mad to pick McGovern over Stringer or Hogan.

If I was starting a team, there's no way I'd pick Hogan or Stringer over other options when both sulk and struggle when their team is down. Simple.

Fair enough, gotta consider the fact that both those players attract the most attention in the forward half, gives other players on their a bit of free space :P
Haha i do laugh at how melbourne seem to be better without Hogan (hawks/geelong wins) but i feel thats more due to Melbourne being too reliant on Hogan and without him they look for the better option instead of going to the 2/3 on 1 :P
But on talent i think id rather them, feel they are at a higher level now and also have a higher roof than some of the others :P
