Cheers mate!
Still think although there is lots of mid price value guns/rooks is the way to go.

Although I'm thinking of going with a full mid price defence pretty much as I think Yeo and KK could easily get out devoted by guys like Smith and Jaensch who will be much cheaper anyways!

Holz

Jimmy bartel?

What position will he be though?

I was super keen on him this year but didn't follow my gut. After a lot of early regret, in the end, Newnes and Hibberd were both there when it mattered and Hurley got injured.

Moral of the story? Hurley's bash and crash footy is to be admired, but he's yet to play a full season.

My 2016 Midfield:

Considering the value on offer, a 5 premium midfield will be the way to go.

I want 3 top 5 players to begin with, so:
Ablett/Fyfe - every team needs a captain, who will depend on byes most likely.
Pendles - picks himself, durable and capable of 120+, won't go any lower than priced to average.
Rockliff - his days of POD will be over.

Then I want an underpriced top 10, 110+ mid:
Sloane/Sidebottom/Shiel - my preferences in that order, byes will play a factor.

There's only room in my team for 1 underpriced not-quite-premium at M5:
Crouch/Libba - if Crouch can get his body right, otherwise a fit and healthy Libba takes his place.
5 Months later and really no change to this situation or assessment.    Some people will leave out Pendles as other cheaper options available.  But 120 in bag is worth it.

Libba is a SC machine but will Bont McCrea et al impact his scoring?

When is Matt Crouch likely to break out?

FWDs.
ATM looking like not many DPP fwd options so KPP selections may be a key differentiater.

Looking forward to it all.

Shaw, Jaensch, Smith, Seedsman, Buckley, Schraenberg (2 rookies)
Fyfe, Rocky, Ablett, Pendles, Libba, Trengrove, Mills, Hooper (Freeman, Rookie, Rookie)
Goldy, Mummy (rookie)
Gray, Martin, Bontempelli, Bennell, Petrecca, Schade, (Menzel, rookie)

Defence

Shaw: Proven gun he is locked in.
Jaensch: Can easily go 90+ next season will be discounted.
Seedsman: He is a gun and at a new club will become a gun.
Smith: Can easily go back up too 90+ with more midfield time assuming danger leaves.
Buckley: My POD at this stage for a breakout year, up the blues ;).
Schraenberg: has had a few games to get up to AFL standard and looked pretty good.

Mids:
Rocky: Will be cheap and could easily average 130.
Fyfe: the new Ablett must have in my opinion.
Ablett: Still has it if he can stay on the park, I'm predicting that he will.
Pendles: Mr. Consistant will always go 115-120
Libba: He could be a top 10 mid by end of year. (Could be changed to Crouch, JOM or Prestia)
Trengrove: Think he could easily get an 80 avg and is too good to pass up at 200k
Mills/Hooper: Going off what Holz said and who wouldn't want two Heeneys in there team.
Freeman: Not 100% on him but if fit he should be a gun.

Rucks:
Goldy: Very expensive but worth the price tag.
Mummy: Should get a slight discount and had 2 games of 60s and is under priced.

Forwards:
Gray: Again a must have forward
Martin: He is only going to get better and I think he will be #1 forward by the end of the year.
Bennel: New club he will learn his lesson and become a gun.
Bontempelli: In an improving bulldog side he will become even more of a gun.
Schade: Will be a the Hogan of 2016 at Carlton ;).
Petrecca: Another Hogan like player missed a season and will become a gun.
Menzel: Showed signs of brilliance and with a full preseason will be worth the cash.

That's my team at the moment anyways. Assuming I have enough money haha
3 crows in your back line?? I know the back line will see a lot of ball but it will be flying over their heads
