Hey Chumps can you add Trent West and Harry Marsh to the OP in this thread please seeing as they are on our list.

#181
In my first (less than pleasant) attempt at using Mac's version of excel we've found ourselves the club best and fairest for 2015.

Without any further ado, here is the tally and final results of the years award:

Holy shower that's average quality. For those with bad eyes, leaderboard:

Josh Kennedy - 42
Stef Martin - 39
Mark Blicavs - 36
Trent Cotchin - 34
Shaun Higgins - 25

Ladies and gentlemen, your club champion for the third time, Josh Kennedy!

Runner up is valiant ruckman Stef Martin!

Coaches award and most improved goes to Mark Blicavs who has taken his game to the next level this season and is now one of the most valuable players in the game.

For the reserves, in a season where we made it to the semi-finals and were unlucky to progress despite being one of the top scoring teams for the year, Darcy Lang is awarded the B&F.

Darc had a super consistent season and was always pressing for Cobra selection. We fully expect Darcy to take his game to another level next season and hope to solidify himself a spot in the best fifteen.

Nige

4th and 5th in the B&F made a wise decision to head to the northern part of Africa.

They'll be a part of the history when Cairo beat Cape Town for the first time in 2016.  :P

I'd also like to take this opportunity to wish Cape Town players Trent Cotchin, Shaun Higgins, Brant Colledge and Nick O'Brien all the best as the move on to new pastures following the start of the WXV trade period.

Coming the other way are young-gun midfielder Dion Prestia and pacy, half-back Brodie Smith from Cairo and unproven but talented youngsters Cameron Giles and Lincoln McCarthy from New Delhi.

The Cobras also improve their draft position in the Cairo deal moving up from number 9 to number 4 in the first round and from number 29 to 24 in the second round.

Draft expert and co-coach Memphistopheles is delighted by this upgrade and says another "bona-fide star" will be headed to South Africa come International Draft Day with Pick 4.

I remember that once great midfield.

I whole heartedly regret ever breaking up the big 4, may I burn in forum hell for my actions.

But we enter a new era!

My Chumps

Capping off a promising season, Josh P Kennedy wins his fourth best and fairest! Is it getting old yet... Congrats to the big fella, the heart and soul of this football club.

Marc Blicavs takes out runner-up despite a down season from last year. Hunter too inconsistent, and Dom Tyson demonstrates his worth with a fourth place finish.

Peter Wright takes out best young player award with 10 votes, 6 in front of second-placed Callum Mills.

Dean Kent is awarded with best individual performance for his round 12 effort vs the New Delhi Tigers. Trailing heading into Sunday, Kent pulled out a career high score (119) that was instrumental in our 5 (50) point victory. The score was also a sign of things to come as he proceeded to pole 7 more votes in the remaining four matches.

Blake Acres wins the reserves B&F. A sign for the future!
