If only the rest of us knew what you were saying
You don't need to know, just shut up and listen :P

Jacobs dropped off a little towards the end and Priddis was just outstanding all year

Both should still be in the AA. Anyone who says Priddis isn't AA clearly didn't see him play much this season

FYI, will take the 34/1 I had on Priddis to win the Charlie ty very much ;D  Saw him at the Oval where he was the best, still only polled 2 Brownlow votes

GoLions

???

I agree that both of them should've been AA. I don't see how that is relevant to whether Goldy is a lock or not though.

Dayze

Way off topic.
for what its worth Jacobs was unlucky. it happens. So was Priddis... it was either him or pendles...

Had Goldy since round 10 and most of 2013.
He is a joy to own. When he is fit he is crazy consistent. Only as a Goldstein owner do u appreciate him properly. Also a reliable fall back safe captains option.

With nicnat berger and kreuzer to deal with its going to be tricky, but I am going to make a serious effort to fit him in.

Jacobs averaged 101 in 2012 which i'd say is good

i'm pretty sure he was carrying an injury last year

It's good and I expect him to go closer to that than this year's average. Goldy after his early injury worries went again 110+

I dont know that he is a lock for next year. I think there will be cheeper rucks out there that will average similar scores.

Will be interresting to see his starting price, i think it will be high $650k+

Cant see anyone coming close to him, maybe a fully fit Nic nat.

This isnt even a question, my first picked player.
Yeah because Sauce Jacobs plays Rugby doesn't he? Cant see any coming close hey? Bias much :P

Yeah I'm bias towards players who consistently show they can score highly. Minson went 110+ last year too. Jacobs has had one good year.

Goldy was injured to start the year without that he would have posted his 3rd 110+ season in 4 years. The one time he didn't that was because of HMAc. Jacobs second best year is 101, you can't even compare these two as super premium rucks.
Yeah you're right, Goldy hasn't had a 115+ season yet. Everyone knows how good the Sauce was except the AA selectors but they cant see past the line outside of Victoria :P

yes sounding very unbiased there. I'm a numbers man and people who put up good numbers I pick.

113.1 average
Hmac year (pumped out good numbers without Hmac)
113.2 average
injured to start the year. 116.4 after the bye from the last 14 games.

priced at 107.

v

92.7
101.2
85.1 (injured)
115.3

priced at 115

just look at the numbers and tell me who is the better pick.

But that wasn't the argument. You said nobody will come close to him, I simply stated that the Sauce actually can :P

Will I pick the Sauce? No, too expensive. Goldy for R!? He's in contention for my team. Will GOldy ave more than the Sauce? Who knows but I suspect it could be close around the 112-115ish each

I expect this to be an outlier for Sauce and im thinking sub 110 easy, probably sub 105. Goldy i think will go 112+ . The only ruck i think will come close will be a fit nic nat.

No ruck is coming close to him, at this rate no player is with a 140 average in his last 6 games.
