Nice Team here and can not really fault.

Not a lot of cash available should rookies not line up for round 1. If required would go Jong to NVB to free up $60k. Concerned about the 2 rookie defenders getting games.

just a couple of concerns to watch - Nat not travelling due to back issues will he be managed through the season and not travel at times.
Barlow had an injury from Thursdays game as well so watch.

Watch Jack Martin in NAB cup games as I still think he needs to develop his body further but just a personal opinion. Still under 70kg which is still light on when facing the big guys.

Keeper27

Yeah. My thoughts exactly.
Actually wanted to DG Barlow and UG nicnat to Mumford/Jacobs.

Thoughts on NRoo?? I love his fast starts and think he can do it again. Quick UG after 6-7 weeks??

No Gazza
looks and feels weird.

Gazza
looks safer, but uneasy with his shoulder issues.

Mid price madness down back mate, without Gaz team back line looks a tad better but you're banking a lot on those mid price boys, hopefully it pays off for ya, like the Priddis and Ward picks, rucks good, forwards good, only thing i can really say you could do is downgrade a Newton/Cripps/Crouch and turn one of those mid price backs into someone a bit more solid, good luck mate

So basically between those teams it comes down to

Danger Newton Vandenberg
vs
Neale, Steven Hogan

On paper, the bottom one will score the most points but looking at your team structurally and in terms of cash generation i would definitely go with the top one mate. It just makes your side so much more balanced

DEF: Perfect structure here mate. I like Bob as a POD as well. Shaw is a great premo pick, Newnes/Lumumba/Goodes are all great value, and Saad at D6 is fine. Nothing wrong here. Just consider NBrown at D8 for JS reasons.

MIDS: Love your top 3. Not 100% sold on Parker, I don't think he can improve on last years output. Breakout players find it hard to improve again after such an elite season, but if your sold on him then back yourself in. Danger is a great pick at his price, has the ability to go 110+. Rookies are fine too.  Be careful with Miller, when GAJ and Jaeger come back in he might be pushed out. Consider Cockatoo.

RUCK: Premo picks are perfect, I really like Maric this year. Might need to keep some cash on hand for your R3. Just in case guys like Phillips get named and noone else does. I'm a big believer of ruck cover.

FWDS: Again, top 3 picks are perfect. For your rookies also consider Karnezis, Hogan, Lamb over Lonie and Kraks.

Nice team mate, can't really fault except a few rookies to fix up but that will be more clear when teams are named

haven't posted in a while.
but here's the team so far.

Rnd 8: 2,121
Total: 16,953
Rank: 9,411
Trades: Lumumba/Tarrant to Rocky/Simpson (was 2.5k short of Salem/Lumumba  :'( )

thoughts:
1) Salem & 1 of CEY/Miller to Mid Premo/Mid Rookie (via Dusty swinging fwd)
2) when Ox/Saad is ready to trade i'll swing Higgins back and bring in a fwd Premo (finishing my fwds)
3) 2 of Krakouer/CEY/Miller to a Mid premo/Mid Rookie (Finishing my mids)
4) finish DEFs
