due to not much depth in the backs next year i'm looking into who could possibly avg 90 as this should be a good avg for a back next season. How do people think Adcock will go next season? will he get more of a free run with Bundy, Beams and Rich coming into the midfield or will the lions captain be playing a shut down role? thoughts please?

Hippo

no! you want a player on the way up, not on the way down

kilbluff1985

i think he will do lock down jobs as they look at using Rich and Hanley as rebounders

Ringo

If looking for a player who may average 90 would not consider Adcock Cortez.

He has not averaged 90 as yet during his career and at 29 hard to see him reaching that mark.  Adcock will be the organiser of the defence from the HB line and he will continue to play that role which he plays well.

It might seem that way but:

2013 - 91.2
2012 - 90.1
2011 - 90.4

Not to mention 22 GAMES AT 110.7 IN 2007. Hard to believe I know..

Ok, been holding onto Jed since rd 1, not looking any better in picking him or keeping him.

Current side is;

Shaw, Oxley, Newnes, Adcock, Kmac, Dmac (Simpson, James Kelly)
Fyfe, Pendles, Watson, Gray, Barlow, ASwallow, Cripps VDB (Saad, Nelson, Glenn)
Goldy, NicNat (McLaren)
Swan, Dusty, Bont, Tarrant, Clark, Krak (Saelm, Hogan)

20 trades & 171k in bank.

Do I move Adcock on? (Am thinking he & VDB this week)

Or am I better off holding (been holding, hoping & dealing with other injury trades this year - which is why I still have Kelly)??

Thoughts?

I reckon I'd be finishing off your team first, then look to move him on.

Perhaps a sideways to Smith is an option over the next few weeks.

Cheers,

was almost thinking of keeping Oxley & Saad longer term and moving on Adcock before them.

Adcock likely to lose another 8k this week.
