Influence points are only down on x4 to x2. It won't have that much impact on averages at all

that means he will be getting half the amount as he was previously, i think that is a massive factor. He plays so many games we he steps up at the right time and gets heavily rewarded for it. Thats my opinion anyway, i think alot of his 120 scores will drop to 100-110 because of it

Yeh but they are only applied to that particular time. Its not like his whole game is multiplied by 4.

Yeah and honestly how many matches are that close where the scaling makes a massive difference? At the very most, he may lose like 50 points over the course of the season, which equates to ~2-2.5ppg
I'm more than happy if he only averages 117.5-118 rather than 120.

Boak is a proven gun but you only need to see how he scores his points to be a bit worried about selection. A guy who gets 160 then 60 cant be compared to Mr.Selwood.
Might be worth a dip when he drops in price maybe?
With Gray, Boak, Ebert and Wines, I think the uber-premo there is Gray.

Unfortunately I did not back my thought on Boak,as he has averaged 5 points more than Selwood at this stage then Selwood, but I did not start Selwood aswell based on the fact that I thought he would have a slow start, looking to snap him up now for cheap in next couple of weeks

Good call not starting Selwood but Boak hasn't set the world on fire so I'd be glad you didn't start either tbh

I have a feeling too that Boak could take his game to another level this year given where Port are at as a club and he should be hiting his peak at the age of 26-27.

Trust your gut, if you feel he will take his sc avg to something similar to Selwood's then go for it. Will be a good POD choice and will save you some money.
Selwood as first choice unless Boak drops another 50k.    Also look at  your byes to see if trade causes any problems.
My next mids are Rocky, GAJ, Selwood and Pendles
