Hi all,

I've been watching the WC game, more specifically NicNat, and keeping an eye on his HOTAs.

I may not be judging it right, so I'm interested to see if there are live stats for HOTA during the game. I honestly think NicNat has had a minimum of 10 this game, yet he's clearly not getting 5 each time considering he's on 45 at HT and he's had 4 disposals as well.

Does anyone have a spot where we can see the HOTA stat during the match?

RaisyDaisy

That stat isn't made available I think

I totally agree with you though. I'm watching the game and the live reporting and I've seen NicNat have several HTA and get 1 point

Yeah, I don't mind if they wanna change the rules to make the HOTA worth more, but they need to keep awarding it. Maybe they realise it's too high cos 20 in a game is too heavy a score for them to give ruckman.

Wouldn't be surprised if it's dropped to 3 next year.

From what I have seen it appears that any a HOTA is only awarded for clean takes by your team only.

That's fine, but out 38 hit outs today. He must've had 15-20 that went straight into an Eagles hands.
Anyway, asking as it's even for everyone, then that's fine.
Just a bit annoying.

I would have said more like 9-10 myself. But didn't opinions on what a HOTA is.
Surely its the same for everyone so cant complain either way.

Pyke had more than 20 against the Dogs I believe, yet scored only 109 for the game
