Trades, premos and war chests

Howdy folks

I find myself with a conundrum on my hands. Thus far I have made 3 trades in my team: Goodes to Oxley, GAJ to NVB and Cocky to CEY. Oxley, NVB and CEY were all good money making options, but it meant that I've downgraded GAJ and haven't filled that spot with a premo. Now, I have Bartel injured (held on to him to see what Gray is doing) and I also have Lamb doing nothing up front. My starting team looked so good, but my rookies haven't panned out. With Tarrant and Krak on the bubble, I'm very, very tempted to trade Bartel and Lamb for Krak and Tarrant... However obviously that is another prem being replaced with a cow, though it leaves me with 1.1 mill in the bank, with Sloane and Rocky looking like they could be easy pickups in a couple of weeks.

With the aim of the game being to stack a side with prems, you obviously need money... But also I'm slowly decreasing the number of prems in my side. I feel like at this early stage getting cash generation is the more important thing, but I'm also setting my team slightly further back from being completed - albeit freeing up tons of money which will make upgrades easier...

So, what would the coaches of fan footy do?

I'll be bringing them in to give me a war chest of about $500k, not quite as big as yours but still in a similar position

The likes of Parker Simpson SJ James Kelly will be cheap as chips in a few weeks..

Yeah, it's not ideal. I'm not a huge fan of bringing in 2 rookies, but it's still early days, and the only real upgrade many people have done is something like Goodes to Smith, so not a huge ultra-premium.

The money making that Krakouer and Tarrant will provide will certainly be worth waiting one extra week for a premium!

Traded in Krak last week for Wells
Got Tarrant/Kelly this week for Bartel/Goodes   815K in bank for 2 premo upgrades in next weeks
