So confused about what to do with Bartel & Goodes (I have 180k in the bank). The sensible thing seems to be Bartel to Bontempelli and Goodes to B Smith (with 11K change). But I don't particularly want Bontempelli (I think he's had his two storming games and he's so important to the Doggies future I believe he only needs to sneeze to be rested). I'd prefer to go Bartel to Gray, but then Goodes is a conundrumm. Is Goodes to Hunt insane? And if I were to get Gray I'd prefer to wait a week for the next price drop (breakeven somewhere around 155?).

Lambert & Lamb are two positions I'll rain-check until next week (Krak, Tarrant etc.)

Overall position: 10K
Trades completed: 2
Bank: 180K

Def: Shaw; Gibson; Kelly; Newnes; Goodes; Oxley; (McIntosh; Brown)

Mid: Pendelbery; Fyfe; Sloane; Parker; Van Berlo; Heeney; Ellis-Yolmen; Saad (Vandenberg; Miller; Lambert)

Rucks: Goldstein; Naitainui (Lucey)

Fwd: Bartel; Martin; Bennell; Swan; Salem; Clark (Hogan; Lamb)

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Would wait to see if Goodes gets dropped before trading him. If he is dropped just chuck McIntosh on field and keep him for another week. Harris Andews will be on the bubble next week as a defence rookie, and might continue to get games for the Lions as a key forward/second ruck since Leuenberger has proven that he can't play that role.

If Goodes is named then Goodes to Smith and Bartel to Bont is probably the best option, as both of them should be solid premium options long term. Even if Bont doesn't quite get there, so many other people have him that it isn't really and issue. Also a much beter chance of becoming a premium option than Taylor Hunt, who could go alright, but he is someone that you wouldn't want in your team all season.
