Wow trading out lumumba is an absolute luxury, and a bit premature imo wasn't going to drop all that much cash this week, I guess if you had nothing else then maybe worth a thought, easy of course for me to say this in hindsight but I was always going to give him another couple of weeks, same with Beams.

2 trades to use, had nothing else to do... seemed like obvious safe trades... it's not like you can do anything else but sideways when all ur rooks are playing and all stand to make $$$

to make matters worse i have wallis and bartel, so pretty much another season finished before it began

Yeah i guess, I don't like trading for the sake of trading even though we may as well, i think last week I had a couple of trades left that I never used in AF, whether that was just a waste on my behalf or not not sure. The issue I see with short term trades to make a quick cash grab is that you might intend to grab a bloke for a couple of weeks, and then plan to trade him out but then injuries could strike and you're stuck with him for longer than you want. You were a bit unlucky here I guess. The Lumumba one wasn't a bad trade, you traded someone who may not be a top 8 back to someone who will be, not sure about the beams one though
