Mr.Craig

Good win over Coburg on the weekend. Here's a look at the some of the performances...

Simpkin - Strong game with 30 touches, 8 marks, 4 tackles and a goal. Will continue to keep the pressure on for a mid spot.

Anderson - Responded pretty well to being dropped. 20 disposals, 5 tackles and a couple of goals. Efficiency was a bit scratchy.

Woodward - Racked up as usual, but even for him 40 touches is a big day out. Also kicked a goal.

Heatherley - Played one of his better games for the club but I'd suggest he's still behind a couple of guys.

Litherland - Just 10 disposals and 1 mark.

O"Rourke - Was okay but I'm not sure he'll be pushing into the seniors. 22 touches, 5 marks.

Sicily - Got a bit of it but no goals.

O'Brien - After being named in the best the previous week he didn't do much. Was used in the backline but surely isn't a viable option at that end of the ground at the moment.

Pittonet - 37 hitouts was a good return for a second gamer.

The Rest - Hardisty was good and had the second most handball receives along with the most tackles. Miles was alright and Webster didn't do much at all with only 7 disposals.

Absolutely love Anderson as a player, but maybe needed to regain some fitness after being sub a couple of times, not sure. Have liked the run Hartung provides too, both will be key players.

Would like another look at Woodward too, but really he, O'Rourke, Simpkin, Anderson and Hartung are fighting for the one spot barring injury. Good situation to be in regarding depth and for coming years, but hope we don't have another Hallahan situation.
