I don't think there's anything particularly dumb about getting rid of Deledio for another keeper, but trading down to Adams seems nuts. I'm prepared to eat my words if Adams engages beast mode over the next few weeks and smashes consistent tons but there's nothing about his history which suggests he's on the verge of doing so. The problem with his scoring has always stemmed from his inefficiency kicking and handballing, hence last week where he had 31 touches for 98. He's not likely to get any more of the ball than 31 touches with Sidebottom sitting out and the added attention won't help his disposal efficiency.

If I was in your position, I'd look at career history and take a punt on a proven forward. The next eight rounds aren't going to clarify much more than we already know, after all.

what are your thoughts on bringing cripps out now and putting mccarthy in fwd line and trading in premo midfielder

Probably a bit premature, maybe just wait a week and see if he comes back in. That also messes with your structure quite a bit, probably easier to go heavy with rookies in the midfield than in the forward line as there's plenty of bench cover in the midfield and not much in the forwards.

i dont see how using early trades means your gonna run out if someone wants to use early trades then they could get through eight rounds with out them

With Lids being managed I wonder whether he may be rested late in the season if the Tigers are cruising. Not keen on making him a Sabre, think it's not a bad idea if you get a keeper back for him, but against Adams. But of course if it works you end up being a genius and get a jump on the rest of us. best of luck which ever way mate.     :)

I haven't traded yet (although I wanted to) but I don't agree with the theory that u cannot trade now and win at the end of the year, everyone's team is slightly different, so if u really feel u need to do a cpl of corrective trades now & then not make any/many over the next 4-5 weeks u wont be any worse off so go for it !!
I hate that some ppl need to always criticise others, were all big boys (and girls) so I think we understand the concept of we only have 30 trades, the beauty of this game is none of us knows in advance when 1 of our players might get injured, have a poor week, get rested etc so someone could do 2 trades every week for the 1st 8 weeks, setup their team early, have a good run with injuries etc and have plenty of trades for the end of the season ..... just sayin
