Might roll with 4 def rookies which means I take both

Who to field out of Oxley, Brown and Saad is what I need to think about

Thinking of making Saad E and actually fielding Oxley

Ruled 1 out for ya, now you have 2 options, i know you needed help with that decision mate  ;)

Bully

In the preseason Saad averaged 62 from 66% gametime, Oxley 59 from 70%, pretty close so a toss of the coin.

I can't decide, I'm leaning towards Oxley because he is cheaper

Seedsman still a few weeks away, but you'd think with no preseason he would come back through the VFL?

Still reckon there's plenty of time for Oxley to prove himself, plus he's been on the list a while now and you'd think he deserves his chance!

Vulpes

Seedsman and Scharenberg are listed as 3 weeks and 3-4 weeks respectively on the AFL injury list from March 23rd. I think both of them will spend solid time in the VFL before they get to AFL level, but it's definitely going to be a contested position.

The second factor is that Collingwood are probably looking at playing a shorter, faster backline than they might usually, due to the mozzie squad at Brisbane. If there was any team you'd want a short, running backline for it would have to be Brisbane, so he may not even last until Seedsman and Scharenberg are putting pressure on.

Base purely off NAB then Saad gets the nod

Played just over 60% in all 3 games and scored mid to high 60's

Oxley on the other hand only played 40% in game one but then around 80% in games 2 and 3 for scores of 89 and 58

If Saad was to increase his TOG based purely on those 3 matches to match Oxleys TOG of the 2nd and 3rd games then I'd have Saad scoring more

It's all much of a muchness because anything can happen really. Stats say Saad, but for some reason gut slightly leaning towards Oxley

As for Oxley, I think he has an opportunity to play a few games early so I'm going to pick him

Collingwoods 3 emergencies this week are Kennedy, Karny and Gault. None of those guys impact Ox

As for Seedsman, he was fringe best 22, although Thomas and keefe out help him no doubt, but he will have to come back via the VFL. He isn't a gun who just walks up into the 22 after being out for a long time

Goddard and Hamling as fall back options too. Considering he is essentially only D8, I reckon it worth the risk considering the benefits it allows me now structure wise

Seedsman is playing this weekend

Money Shot

I had Brown but with McIntosh cementing a spot in Richmonds best 22 for at least a few weeks I have now went with Oxley for cash and points!

The same with me, with the extra cash I've upgraded Swan to Goddard

The extra cash from Oxley and Lonie allowed me to go Wells<Danger ;D

Samsturmfels

Yeah I'm going with Oxley, just because he's cheaper
