Wait where's Newnes?... You might be saying. To that I reply Caddy, Karnezis, Webster and many more NAB teasers.

But they hadn't score well before... Well what about Mitchell and Wright?

I admit they had very different scoring patterns, so let's look at players with similar trends last year:

I could only find 3 examples who spiked so dramatically in their 4th year, after previously being a low scorer. Mullett, Mckenzie and Hibberd all spiked after 3 poor years, and all 3 dropped again.

I think it's gonna be hard for him to average more than 85 at the Saints with his scoring history.

Given how many have him, I reckon not picking him is a safer POD than actually picking someone who isn't worth it.

Taylor and Thompson both have a proven history of 87+, so they are my 2 value picks down back.

Other than Smith and Simmo, Houli is the only 83+ average I could find that I trusted to both retain his value and play 20+ games.

M: Pendles, Selwood, JPK, Griffen, Van Berlo, Cripps, Heeney, Ellis-Yolmen, (Boekhorst, Miller, Steele)

No Gaz or Rocky as I think they will both drop to the level of Pendles, therefore not having any extra captaincy value. Fyfe is too injury/suspension prone for me, and is also unproven at 120+.

Van Berlo was just easing his way back in during NAB, and will most likely average 70+ and be great bench cover all season.

R: Goldy, NicNat, (O'Brien)

F: Deledio, Dusty, Bennell, Swan, Clark, Lambert, (Hogan, Lonie)

Amazed how few have Deledio. So much more reliable than Gray, younger than Bartel and durable than Buddy.

Bennell I reckon will average 105+ in his 5th year after a full pre-season. If he doesn't breakout, will still average minimum 95. Just need to hope he stays injury free.

Salem looks like the Rohan of 2015 to me.
