So with Ablett now a definate starter ive tried re-jigging my team to accomodate....
But im still short and all my other lines im happy with.

So my thought is..

My Mids are as follows :
Pendelbury, Fyfe, Ward, Dangerfield, Griffen, Stevens, Cripps, CEY (Heeney, Vandenburg, Lambert)

By starting Ward, i have $90,000 leftover, i can watch the first few games and try gauge how the scoring between Ward & Griffen is (hope that both rise in price a little or at least stay where they are)

Then i can see how Abletts playing (& even Rocky)... i then have $$ to decide if i need to trade 1 of Ward/Griffen.
If that makes sense?!
I Know everyones against trading Premiums, but 1 trade really is no different then fixing rookie trades at the start of the year
& if Ablett gets subbed in the 3rd qtr for sub 100, whos laughing then!!

even if Ablett comes out fit and firing i cannot see him maintaing that ridiculously large starting price for too long.

Just a Thought....

meow meow

Koby Stevens is a terrible pick ;)

Famous last words.

Stevens out, Ablett in.

I don't think its a terrible decision.

Was thinking of doing the same thing and wasting 1 trade if needed also.

At least you see after 2 rds what Abletts price-scoring is BUT you could also miss out on a lot of points if he is ready to kill it as usual.

Im still 50/5-

The Priest

The Last time Gary missed the NAB cup/ didn't play any preseason games his first 5 rounds were 91, 141, 109. 95, 75. They aren't terrible scores, if it was your M5 or a D4 where you are paying mid 400's.

However..

That is an average of 102.2, surely he would have to drop at least $150 gs after that. Every cent count in SC.

Side not though, he went and got 198 the following week.

Ricochet

I wouldn't. Just upgrade to GAJ like you would any other gun that you miss out starting from, through rookie upgrades. You'd still get him in around RD6

That was mainly due to the fact it was his first year at the Goldcoast so he took a little bit to get going.

Your idea is solid. If it was any other player than gaj I'd say go for it, but..

It's gaj, he is ready, just pick him and save a trade mate ;)

bottlemart

Good idea, get Ablett later. Ablett is more likely to drop in price and Stevens is likely to increase in price.
