Rico's Advice Thread 2015

G'day Rico! I have chopped and changed a bit this morning and this is what I have come up with...

DEF: Shaw, Newnes, Lumumba, Ibbotson, Goodes, McIntosh (Oxley, Saad)

MID: Ablett, Fyfe, Selwood, Dangerfield, Griffen, Cripps, Heeney, Ellis-Yolmen (Smith, Miller, Lambert)

RUCK: Mumford, Maric (Read)

FWD: Gray, Martin, Swan, Bellchambers, Salem, Clark (Hogan, Lamb)

Cash left: 13.9k

Thoughts? Planning on trading Mumford out early, switching Belly to rucks and using the cash to get a premo in the mids and forwards. Any changes you would recommend? Should I downgrade Maric to Nic Nat and upgrade Martin to Bartel?

There's not much outside that man, but I'm fairly confident we'll see vandenBerg named

doesnt look like he even got elevated! (vandenberg that is)

this is the current mids but need advice on what other rookie to get instead of vandenberg now.

I've got 130k + vandenbergs 127k. So plenty to choose another rookie but i am unsure of who!

Thanks , I know that's the better option it's just I really like Lewis so brings me to my next question, Lewis vs danger vs anyone under 623k

Ibbo + Gray + Fyfe Vs Simpson + Bartel + Lewis

First one for me mate. You'll get a top 3 mid (Fyfe) a top 2 fwd (Gray) and a defender that should average 85ish

Hey mate, i'm chopping a changing a heap today and have come up with this? wondering your thoughts, the most concerning thing with me is belly at f3, i'm going from hot and cold about him a lot! i have a plan to bring swanny in for him if it annoys me too much haha, wondering your thoughts on that and the team as a whole, i have $45k left, cheers mate.

No problems with Belly at F3, its fine there man. I'd look at Buddy to Swan maybe? Swan is such a lock at that price. OTher than that your side looks very solid mate, its hard to fault. Well done. Might just have to fix up the rookies when we see teams

I like this team mate. Just be careful with Rookies like Miller. Who is Smith? If its Clay then he's a few more weeks off it yet.
I would downgrade Maric to NicNat but thats just because I think NicNat is a lock. Maric is a good pick also though

Hey mate, main concern is Higgins in defence. But thats just my views on him, if you think he can go 85+ then back him in.
I'd look at dropping Jong down to a rookie too mate, like a vandenBerg. Also consider Cockatoo, Newton and van Berlo as your rookies
Belly at R2 with zero cover is too weak mate. Either save a bit of cash for R3 to upgrade to whichever rookie is named, or swith Belly into your fwds and upgrade R2.
I'd go Towers down to a rookie mate, look at Lamb.

I'd go Danger mate. I really think he can get back to his 110+ average
