Is anyone considering Nankervis for R3?

He was named emergency in the last 4 Home and Away matches last year and priced at $123,900.

Kicked 30 goals in the NEAFL last year and was ranked 4th in the league for contested marks

Had him for ages in my plan team until O'Brien bobbed up for a cheaper price and dual positioning.

Nankervis named in NAB3, O'Brien isn't. Hopefully Nank does well so we have a cheap option at R3

If you go the Toby you'll be sweating on Tippet through the year. Also sweating a little less on Derickx being crap. Quite a lot less tbh.

With O'Brien it's a structure/new coach thing. Maybe Walsh doesn't believe in going sole ruck? We'll find out round 1. Jenkins was a ruck before going to the Cows, but they look set on converting him entirely to a power forward.

Jenkins always give Sauce a chop out though

O'Reilly and Nank seem like our best hopes. Just need to wait and see now

I had Nank at R3 for a while, and imo he's probably the best R3 option, but I've currently got Downie since if Mummy goes down, he's likely to play.

I addressed this in another thread. Jenkins had 50 hitouts last year, and 13 of them was in one game when Jacobs went down injured. Jenkins averaged 2.8 hitouts a game even including that one game. He's not a ruck, he's a forward. He had 3 games not registering a single hitout.

Another thing to remember is Walsh may be moving toward redundancy in the talls, in which case there's room for another working bee.

I must have missed that

Nice stats, cheers man :)
