Hey guys,

how many rookies on field is too many in the midfield, at the moment my squad features 4 on field rookies (NVB, Biggs, Heeney, Freeman, Boekhorst, Vandenberg and Krakouer)

Heres the rest of my team just for the moment

DEF: Smith, Hibberd, Shaw, Hampton, Seedsman
Rookies: Lever, Goddard, DVR
MID: Ablett, Pendles, Danger, Griffen
Rookies: NVB, Biggs, Heeney, Freeman, Boekhorst, Vandenberg and Krakouer
RUCK: NicNat, Goldstein
Rookie: T. Read
FWD: Goddard, Deledio, Franklin, Mitchell
Rookies: Salem, Hogan, Laverde, Daniel

I like it a fair bit (especially ruck) but im not liking the light midfield. Given the poor options in the defence i was forced to give up selwood, priddis and rookie bench options for NVB, Biggs, Hmapton and Seedsman.

4 rookies is perfectly acceptable in the mids. Especialy this year with depleted backline options.

Your team will be quite good if Hampton and Seedsman fire.

Can't see Hampton breaking 90... Too many players at GWS who will and he couldn't be one of them.
Go a Yeo something like that or if you want a POD Marley Williams is looking set to hit some more midfield tim but that's extremely risky as he is a needed unit down back.
I think your mids are a big week with last premo being Griffen and he's at M4 as well.
Rucks are top notch!
Only concern up fwd is no swan... Still looks solid though!

Rookies: Lever, Goddard, DVR
MID: Ablett, Pendles, Danger, Priddis(over griffin, soft draw early, looking for big start to the year, seems like a great POD)
Rookies: NVB, Atkins(watching over NAB), Heeney, Freeman, Boekhorst, Vandenberg and Krakouer
RUCK: NicNat, Goldstein
Rookie: T. Read
FWD: Goddard, Deledio, Swan(over Franklin, seems like a similar pick with less standard deviation), Mitchell
Rookies: Salem, Hogan, Laverde, Daniel

Ideally a few rookies pop up in defence and allow me to drop seedsman down to a rookie and turn NVB into Griffin or a POD mid like Hartlett

Rookies: Lever, Maynard, Mckenzie(all rookies are a tossup)
MID: Ablett, Rockliff(having him seems a smarter option than not having him), Pendles, Danger
Rookies: De Goey, Newton, Atkins, Freeman, Boekhorst, Dumont and Krakouer
RUCK: NicNat, Goldstein
Rookie: T. Read
FWD: Goddard, Gray(absolute jet, either him or franklin and i had the cash so why not), Swan, Mitchell
Rookies: Salem, Hogan, Steele, Daniel

Cash remaining: $16,200

Feeling okay with the lineup so far. Only 3 real risky picks being Newnes, Smedts and Mitchell. Would love some constructive critisism, thanks fellas
