Solid team mate, I would be a little concerned about Hugh Goddard playing early on, but you can always reassess after the NAB cup.

Very strong back line otherwise, I would probably have one more premium in the midfield and one less in the back line, but that is just personal choice.

Great team.

Not a huge fan of the expensive backs. Could work!

Pretty damn good team though nroo to Dahlhaus would be the promo selection is change...!

Thanks for the feedback thinking I'll wait till nab cup to see which rookies in the midfield will play then assess if I need to drop a premo back for a midfielder but if I can find 4 midfield rookies who wil get consistent games I'll keep them in and look to upgrade them quickly coz they can cash up quick if they play

Edit: I dropped Burgoyne to whitecross and upgraded Biggs to Cotchin I believe he will lift this year. Have 20k left

Think Malceski is too overs, would rather someone cheaper. Hurn? Birchall? Hibberd?

Wouldn't be banking on Riewoldt either. There are a plethora of better premium forward options IMO.

Otherwise it's really solid.

Good backline structure. Eski is overs and in a new team. Wait and see.
Simmo is consistent. Maybe DG Eski to hurn/birch both are consistent too.

3 top 10 mids with gazza too. Wow super strong.

I think Kreuzer is great value. I do think he'll play a more fwd role though.

4 top 10 fwds. Wow. Gray is slightly overs but that's ok.
Love the NROO pick. the last 3 seasons he's avg 110 in the first 6 rounds. (101.8, 117.8, 110.6).
He'll make a LOT of quick money

Rnd 1 - GWS (137)
Rnd 2 - GCS (118.6)
Rnd 3 - Pies (94.6)
Rnd 4 - Blues (95.6)
Rnd 5 - Ess (107)
Rnd 6 - Dogs (105.5)

based on scores from the last 3 years he's avg 110 over the first 6 rounds, now against these opponents over the last 3 years he's avg 109.7
he's a lock, even if its for 6 rounds. BIG scores equals to a good start and a huge price jump. he starts @ $490K by round 6 he could be $570K plus.

keep up the good work and good luck

if you get a chance check out my team

Burgoyne is a good pick in defence, good chance for 90+ and a POD.

Strong mids- would take NVB over Biggs but both should make solid cash

High risk in the rucks, could be worth it.

I wouldn't start Malceski or Gray. Both probably will end up in the top defenders and forwards respectively but IMO both could be picked up cheaper as the season progresses.

If you start Nroo you have to take him under the proviso that he won't be a keeper based on the last 2 seasons where his output collapses in the second half of the season.

Thanks for the advice !

Want to keep nroo for reasons keeper said then hopefully switch him with dahl possibly freeing up some cash and gaining a player who should be more consistent pushing at 100

20k in da bank

Burgoyne only one I wouldn't have there. Bring in Newnes or Birchall....
Then I'd upgrade nroo to dusty/buddy/Goddard.

Nroo will start fast but, it's about whole season averages in initial selection!

The whole point in getting NRoo isn't about a season avg, it's about his ability to smash it at the start make a sh!t load of money and trade him out for a premium you want.

Add to that if he avg's his usual 110 by rnd 6 you'd have made as much points as a premium midfielder.

More points = more money = happy coach

Waste of a trade... Chances are you'll upgrade him to a guy similarly priced cos he's in form. Only way that works is if you make 80+k from a downgrade which will earn you 105 points a game, you better make sure you pick the right player otherwise you risk burning 3 or 4 trades for 1 position. Rather just select a player who I can forget about who will average 100-110.
Better yet find a breakout midpricer like jack Martin. Much better options than banking on nroo out there.
