I've got a SC calculator...I simply pick names and it does the rest.

U can do ur own calc by simply aligning the 2008 avg pts to ur team...use 30 for rookies.

TigerFever

i used the Fanplanner (on FanFooty) and i got 2095 and thats not with my subs and a Capt i think thats a pretty good score :P

jrod

2085 using the fanfooty planner. Does that take into account a captain, which is automatically chosen im guessing?

i got 1995

2132 with brent harvey captain. lol

so realistically bout 2050

Watto

I got 2015 including Captain, but I'm not sure this really means anything

Sorry only new to FF and didn't realise about fanplanner...so completed and mine is 1892...which is about 50 below my updated SC calc tally. Appears diff is guru based over 2 yr avg. Guru also gives 20 more for rookies. As a guide I suppose both r in ball park.

So if ur >2000 give urself a pat on the back...that'll be very competitive.

I'll have to rework mine now. :)

who usually gets tagged for pies? swan or pendlebury
which combo
fevola, foley, boyd ,brett ebert
or
brown, grigg ,corey, skipworth

also pendlebury/swan or j selwood?

Marcus

I feel I should warn people. Don't use the guru to pick your team.
It is a 'guess' for what the player will get in ROUND 1. Not an average for the year but in ROUND 1. It takes into consideration the OPPONENT. If you you are making a team JUST to score highly according to the guru you will score well (maybe) when the round 1 fixtures happen throughout the season but that might be all.
There is nothing wrong with using it. It is an interesting feature on this site.
But please no one try and use the guru figures in coming up with your team.

Thanks for the warning Marcus...think I'll give guru a miss and stick with SC calc. I just use pts as a guide for strength.

Watto

If you pick lots of North Melbourne players, you'll score really well in the 'Guru' score, coz they're playing Melbourne first week.

Same thing with Port - they're against Essendon

predicted points are a waste of time
