Rucks:

Forwards:

Christian Petracca [MEL] [MID] ($217,300)

The Defence is really bulked up, and rather solid in my opinion, id like anyones opinion to the following question, Im playing the risk with Newnes, Docherty, and Rampe, most coaches will elect to pick only 1 or 2 of those three, is going with all 3 overkill? - after all 1 of them will surely have a break out, am i better off rolling the dice trying to find that 1 as apposed to having all 3 chances at it?

The Midfield is pretty stock standard, personally i cant look away from both Dangerfield and Griffen, however im stuck on a M2 choice - every part of my body screams Fyfe, but Kennedy is such a consistent player who wont get himself suspended for silly out bursts.
Crows coach recently announced NVB will not be tagging this season and all i needed was any excuse to put him in, so its a lock as far as im concerned.

Rucks were difficult, and im kind of doing it the cheat way and looking at the majority of peoples resposes and picking based on popularity, Goldstein does have the potential to lift this season and im happy to gamble on him, however luey is a swing in the dark, i have zero faith in this bloke but everyone seems to think its his time to shine (or make me some money at least) so im gunna role with it for the time being - on that note im considering Hampson, if anyones got news on him id love it.

The only trouble i had with the forwards was i had too many to choose from (very VERY unlike last season) - personaly i just picked out my top 8 midfields and chose the 3 i couldnt look away from, but players including Franklin, Swan, Goddard and someone out of left field, Zieble are all on my watch list, anyone whose looking for a mid priced forward i would deffinitly lock zieble in however i had the money to spend and elected to put in Dal, and no one will change my mind about Dal this season.

As for the rookies, well theres not much to say they all have great potential but nothings set in stone until the NAB challenge finishes and we can get a better look at their outputs.
If anyone thinks some of my rookie options are plain stupid lemme know, but for now im pretty happy with how the side is looking.

i got $56K to spend so if anyone can see immediate improvements lettuce know

Thanks Guys

Not bad mate, not bad at all.

DEF: I think playing all of Newnes, Docherty and Rampe is too risky. I would keep one of them, upgrade one of them and downgrade the other one to Waters who is obviously injury prone but is too cheap to ignore for a guy who can score like a premium.

MID: Ablett is a lock but I think you need a stronger M2 than JPK. I would consider Pendles or Selwood here and move JPK to M3. I'm worried about Danger and the contract talk that will hang over his head for the entire season and I'm not sure how Griffen will go in his first year at the Giants.

RUC: Goldy is as solid a pick as they come as he scores well and is durable which is so rare for a ruckman. No Nic Nat? I think he will kill it this year without Cox and he is at a bargain price. I don't mind the Leuey pick though.

FWD: I think Gray is at his maximum price and he could be purchased for a lot less during the season. I prefer Goddard who is cheaper and a proven SC gun. Deledio is a good pick and Dahl is a nice unique. I would think about bringing in a RUC/FWD link unless you're comfortable with burning a trade or copping donuts if your rucks go down.

thanks for the feedback mate, i like you suggestion for the back line however with Malceski, Smith, and Shaw, do you really think a fourth premium is nessasary? haha, still sound advice and i may upgrade elsewhere and stick with two of Newnes, Docherty and Rampe, just hard with the amount of rookie backliners this season

As for Nic Nat, he is a nugget, and id sooner put in Lycett with cox leaveing haha, but each to their own and a might live to regret that comment

good point about gray/goddard, might make the switch now and see what kind of money im lookin at

very solid looking team mate .
strong backs , love how you have fitted ablett and rockliff in same team and havernt really weaken your team , like the pick of dhlhaus , the only advice I would give and if it was my team would be to down grade rampe to whitecross if fit for 1st rd. both should score similar , and upgrade one of your fwd rookies to bellchambers only with having only one on the ruck bench you a gotta need some cover.

Hey guys, just want your opinion on either two of these options for starting my mdifield.

Option 1 (7 Prems):
Ablett
Danger
Wines
Shiel
Giffen
Swallow
Crouch
(Anderson)

Or Option 2 (6 Prems):
Ablett
Pendles
Fyfe
Selwood
Crouch
Shiel
(Vandenburg)
(Anderson)

nperera95

Option 2 has 4 ultra premos. Option 1 has 2 including Dangerfield. I prefer option 1

It is very hard to judge without looking at the rest of your side.

I would suggest though if your mid is that deep that your defence would be showerhouse
