Wanted to ask around and see if anyone has tried to load up on one bye round in the past when going for overall and how it impacted their result.

Would you try doing it again? Did it affect it that badly?

I feel like the first year would have been okay to do it, but now with only 18 players being played I think the days of loading up on one bye round is passed..

Thoughts?

Money Shot

You said with only 18 on the field it isn't the best idea to load up in my opinion.

I don't have any experience with loading up on one bye round, but this year I planned weeks ahead for the byes to make sure I would have at least 21 players playing each week. It worked really well in that I went from being ranked 2000-odd to 64th, so I think that's the way to go.

I have loaded up in a particular position but never across a whole team. Even in a particular position I had to sideways trade but its ok to burn trades if going for overall. I don't really care about who has which byes any more I just pick the best and than sideways trade. Last year worrying about byes meant I went Swan over JPK in the middle of the season. Im not letting that happen again.

IM loaindg up with 4 super premo round 12 mids and will trade them out one week than back in the next if I have to.

being able to have 21 players to pick from would have been unreal! did injuries impact you very much? I swear you need a whole lot of luck over the byes. Its a fallacy!
