could be worse considering my woeful start

324. Pretty happy with that, as 500-600th for most of the year, rose a hundred and fifty spots this week despite having a donut which was a surprise. Had shocking luck in the elxam league which was frustrating, ended up 2nd for total points but finished 17th in the league and didn't even make the 8th-16th finals, which is pretty extraordinary when you think about it, don't think I've seen such a big discrepancy before. Still we managed to be the winning league for elxam which I'm happy about :)

Shot up this week to finish 18th overall. Best placing I've ever had in a fantasy comp. Didn't think I'd get so close to the top 10, was only 100 points out, but despite a donut I shot up 22 spots this week! Very happy with that. Good lesson for the future: never give up! You can always be in contention.

Really makes me regret all the silly mistakes I made this year though: not changing Captains after reversing trades (did that twice!), reverse changes costing me a donut by messing up my emergencies, leaving Swan on the bench one week etc. Haha, I think I cost myself a couple of hundred points that way. Well hopefully I learn from my mistakes (I won't).

Well done as well.  And yes we learn from mistakes - Reverse trades button is the usual one with C and emergency reversed cost me 64 points one week as well. It hurts more when you are so high up the leader board.

So unlucky Hippo, but mate you had a great year, something I dream about doing. But yeah, I understand what you mean, It could be as simple as one of your players got a free kick, and his team mate played on with advantage
