Rookies are subject to change depending on NAB performance and JS, just picked some names I know from previous years and picked a few off this list: http://www.heraldsun.com.au/sport/afl/supercoach-2015-the-young-guns-to-watch-and-rookies-who-could-be-round-1-bolters/story-fni5f3gz-1227152194414

Any feedback would be much appreciated.

You've obvious sacrificed the forward line a bit but I don't mind it too much because your other lines are all really strong, bit of a different strategy to most teams so far and you have to commend that. Not sure on Kelly, think others for that price will out score him. Ditto Van Berlo. Otherwise pretty good, would still try find a way to get another forward in there somehow.

Vanberlo should ave 70-80 has to be in at that price guaranteed every week. I like kelly but he isnt going to bring you those premo points. I like the fwd... it will make cash and a lot!

JBs-Hawks

Think Kelly will give you exactly what you pay for. Question is do you want to look for value elsewhere or just bank on Kelly.

If you run with the Premo Premo Rookie setup in the rucks I think you need Belly (or another ruck/fwd) in your fwd line as cover mate. Otherwise you get caught out

Kelly was the best I could fit in with the cap, somehow got to find 20-30k to get him up Hodge or Burgoyne. I can see him being a top 10 back by the end of the year but would feel safer starting one of the Hawthorn boys I stated above.

I did some calculations on Van Berlo and if his averaging 75-80 he should go up as much as a 123k rookie averaging 60. We'll see how he goes in the NAB and depending on amount of midfield rookies he could be dropped. Might be smart to drop him for a rookie so I have more flexibility with upgrading Kelly and potentially getting rookies who cost more.

Thanks, I too like Kelly and was excited to see him in the backs, especially with the lack of premiums this year.

Making money in the forward line was the plan, with heaps of strong rookies there I think that's where the cash will be generated and I think Gray and a few others are slightly overpriced so I'll wait for them to drop in cash.

We'll see what happens but mainly looking at getting a rookie ruck similar to the last few years. The thing is, if Nic Nat is out for less than 3 I can stand playing a rookie ruck. Even swinging Belly into the rucks and playing another rookie forward may only result in losing 10-20 points a round. I think Goldy will be pretty durable and I can see him and Nic Nat being in the top 4 rucks by years end.

If there isn't a rookie ruck, I'll get Belly in the forwards, but I can't bring myself to be paying more than 150k on back up ruck like many are this year.
