Essendon 34 Named

In an article writing this morning by the Herald Sun, they outline what Essendons team could look like come Round 1, 2015 should the 34 players be banned from the game.

By naming a mock 22, haven't they then in turn named most of the "Essendon 34"? Doesn't take a genius to substitute who is missing from the squad.

I thought the last court hearing protected all 34 players from being named? Technically, while they haven't been explicitly named, they have been named without being named.

Nick Kommer was another name that stood out to me, was injured most of the year iirc but was very good in his debut season.

He's there. I just didn't name him because he's been injured all year and Bomber was the coach so unsure where he sits as an outsider

Theoretically, if this was to happen and we could divi up the bans over the season. Wouldn't be too bad from a development point of view. It would certainly fast track some players.

I'm not a fair weather supporter, I'd still enjoy watching the development of essendon players.

Forward line isn't actually half bad from our normal one. Kommer grew on me last year, certainly showed his worth with his pressure acts inside the 50 as KB said, hopefully he cracks the side again next season regardless.

I thought it's just naming the players they got in the last 2 years and those that have been confirmed to not have taken part in it (like Zaharakis), and not necessarily that anyone not named is one of the 34 players. I could be wrong though.
