I remember there was one point where Nick was a lock in the forward line, not so much now with all the younger forwards coming through. He still averages ok,he did have some pretty average scores this season.Working out his average using this years highest score v opponents the Saints have up until the bye next season it works out to around 96.His Fanplanner price is $496,300.Other players around that price are Luke Dahlhaus,Devon Smith,Jack Gunston,Mark Lecras.

With Lids, Pig, Goddard and maybe some others to come becoming forwards he's going to be over looked by many coaches but I think he can still be a solid Pod

Nothing but respect for the way he is still playing, but will not consider as a starter. May come into consideration as a alte upggrade or trade if a forward comes injured. But with Lids, Swan, Goddard now forward, and guys like Grey, Franklin, Martin still there could not start.

The top forwards are as obvious as I've ever seen them, and as much as I love NRoo, he ain't one.

BJ, Lids, Gray my top 3. Swan may or may not be, certainly worth the risk. Would take Dusty and Buddy over him too. There's 6. Boomer will still be 100+ too.

Such a risk-free boring line, tbh.

Yeah, can't see him being top 6 either.
BJ, Lids, Swan, Gray, Buddy, Dusty, Boomer, Ziebell I'd have all ahead of him. Then guys like Dahlhaus and Smith, perhaps Christensen and Motlop if they get their bodies right. The only difference in forward lines will be which ones you choose to start with, end result should be the same.

Agree with you on picking Ziebell/Smith etc. Was even looking at Walters during the season. But like I mean, is the punt even worth it? Would be a lot more interesting if they weren't handing out free M/F tickets.

Don't think it would be. Can't see him being able to sustain consistent good scores at the Saints, just won't see enough of the ball in the forward line. And I've been looking at Walters too, under-priced and IMO will go 85 or thereabouts, possibly higher.

Keeper27

gonna start with him.
In the last 3 seasons he's avg 110 in the first 6 rounds. (101.8, 117.8, 110.6)
will roughly jump to about 530k if he starts the way he has been the last few years by round 6.

Falls away considerably after that though man, and its too early to trade him out

Why waste a trade?

Doesn't make sense
