WEST Coast has confirmed contract extensions for first-year coach Adam Simpson and chief executive Trevor Nisbett.

The Eagles' board ratified the deals for both men only a week after the club fell just short of playing finals in 2014.

Simpson's first season in charge of West Coast yielded 11 wins and a ninth-placed finish.

After initially signing a two-year deal with the option of a third when he was appointed in September last year, Simpson has added the one-year extension that will see him through until the end of 2016.

Nisbett has penned a new three-year deal after the board asked him continue until the end of 2017 when West Coast plans to have completed a move to their new home at Lathlain Park.
