Crazy that Macrae beat Pendles but then again the MVP doesnt reward consistency just big scores.

Well for this year I used highest scorer of the week for B&F and Pendles won easy Gray 2nd,Macrae 3rd and Hanners 4th
Macrae threw up a couple of stinkers and got no votes a few weeks
Next season I`m going to come up with a different way of doing it I think

MVP is really a hit and miss similar to Brownlow in that votes are awarded per game and depends on the opposition as well.

AS an example any playing the Werewolves would have been disadvantaged until Gazz was injured,  Gazz polled 3 votes in 9 of the seventeen rounds.

Thing is probably wouldn't change the result much as the mids scored over 130 most weeks haha

One of the disadvantages as happens in Brownlow in having a team of consistent performers but not an outstanding player such as an Ablett.  Although you finished on Top of the ladder the consistency of players effected voting. You had 12 players polling votes compared to a lot of other teams with 10 or less.
