What to do? I have 5 trades left, and the week off in two of three leagues. I have both Stevie J and Bartel, my single opponent this week has a full compliment. I have Laidler to cover Bartel, but no-one to cover Stevie J. Here are my options as I see them:

1. Downgrade someone on my Midfireld bench (Sam Gray) to a someone who's playing and upgrade Stevie J to Fyfe or Priddis and use Laidler to cover Bartel and hope for no last minute outs in the back

2. Sideways trade Stevie J and Bartel probably to Robbie Gray and Matthew Jaensch and hope for no last minute outs in the mids

3. Sideways trade Stevie J to Robbie Gray and cover Bartel with Laidler and keep one trade for last minute outs, if it's not needed it'll allow me to use two trades each week in the last two.

I'm leaning toward option 1. Thoughts?

RaisyDaisy

Yeah Option 1 for me too

With 5 trades left and only a maximum of 3 weeks to go, you gotta use those trades!  ;)

OK, so who's the best option in the mids. Already have: Pendles, Rocky, JFK, Selwood, Beams, MacRae and Libba. I'm thinking Priddis or Fyfe (probably leaning towards Priddis atm)

Ricochet

I'd grab Fyfe mate. Has Hawks this week who give up big midfield scores and then Brissie next week who do also.

Id go Priddis...in great form and never know what freo will do regarding resting players..

At this stage of the season the best advice is to check opponents team and trade to gain an advantage. Also look forwrad to your prelim opponents and see if the trade improves your chances against them.

Go crazy?
Don't mind if I do!

I flipped them both for JPK and Hibberd respectively.
Fingers crossed - got the week off in one and sudden-death in the other.

Can you get anyone better than Hibberd? First game back, so not so confident he'll do well.
