FREMANTLE star forward Michael Walters is set to be "unleashed" against Hawthorn next week after an impressive performance at WAFL level on Saturday.

Walters, who has not played since having ankle surgery after Fremantle's round three loss to Hawthorn, collected 19 touches and kicked a goal for Peel Thunder.

Dockers coach Ross Lyon told Channel Seven's pre-game coverage on Saturday night that Walters would be "unleashed" for the game against the Hawks at Patersons Stadium next Sunday.

Anthony Morabito (24 touches) and Jonathon Griffin (33 hit-outs) were also strong performers for the Thunder.

Will be interesting to see who makes way for him, Duffy and Crozier both contributed solidly last night. I feel like Danyle Pearce is running on thin ice at the moment.
