What to do? HELP please!

I finished 4th and playing 1st place, and currently I'm 120 pts ahead of my opponent.

BUT...

Players to go - HIM: Jacobs and Dahlhaus
Players to go - ME: NicNat

It Nic Nat pulls out as rumours suggest I'm flowered.

I have 3 trades and $47,800.

(1) I can straight swap Nic Nat for a $546,500 ruckman such as Cox, Minson or Stef Martin, leaving 2 trades.

Or

(2) I can use 2 trades and trade NicNat/Shenton to Jacobs/Crisp leaving 1 trade for final 2 weeks plus midfield cover.

This would mean that my opponent would need Dahlhaus to score 120+ tomorrow to win.

I really didn't need this, I've held Nic Nat all season and to have this shower in first final is killing me!  >:(

What's your draw like, if you lose can you beat your opponent next week? Could be a waste of trades if you end up losing anyway. I just traded doghouse to boomer, he's going to score 130 to spite me.

Don't use two trade, no point

I reckon that as long as you field a ruck you are every chance to win

I personally think NicNat will be a late out. He was always going to get rested, Cox and Lycett are in, and Collingwoods ruck stocks are rubbish

Trade NicNat to Sauce, cancelling out your opponent. He then needs 120+ from Dahl, which will be a stretch. You get the win most times here, and go straight to the prelim with 2 trades up your sleeve

If you cant afford Sauce in 1 trade, then grab Minson

I just looked at my opponent for next week (if I lose this week) and he is quite strong. But he has Roughy and SJ, so requires bench cover or trades. I have SJ and no bench cover.

I'm tempted to use 2 trades and grab Crisp/Sauce this week, and try and make it to the prelim. If I lose (ie if Dahl scores 120+) then at least I have Crisp as bench cover or I can ultimately trade SJ if I must.

So torn!!

Ok I held firm, and surprise surprise Jacobs scores 158 and Crisp scores 98.

I'm currently 38 pts behind, and I have NicNat vs his Dahlhaus.
