Defense currently: Mcveigh, Swallow, Bartel, Simpson, Murphy, Enright...

Looking at turning Miles into one of these two VIA Bartel...

Ricochet

Looking at Brissies run home I'd probably lean towards Malceski mate. Hanley could cop Crowley and Macaffer in the next few weeks

+1. besides this week, the swans are not playing anyone else who is going to make the finals, so putting a hard tag on eski aint likely. He also isnt the type to get rested.

I've watched the Swans quite a bit and as far as I could Malceski hasn't really been tagged at all..

Only thing that's leaning me to Hanley ATM is two things:

1. My top 4 finals opponent has him
2. His ceiling is ridiculously high as he's playing in the midfield now which takes me back to 1. If eski rips a 100 and Hanley rips a 130-140, 30-40 points over 5 pods in our match is massive! So the matching/safe option would make more sense to me...

I'll be looking at one of these guys if Swallow a late out

He will cop both Crowley and Macaffer mate and I'm very confident on that, so although he may get you a massive 130-140 in the remaining two weeks he will also give you a 50-60 score in there which is what you don't want going into the finals.

Play it safe and go with Malceski mate! You're playing with fire if you think Hanley is a good option given his run home - it will also cancel out that POD which means you have to get your captain choice spot on and hope your POD's beat his. Best of luck mate.

diamw90

So eski is the safe option. What do u mean by canceling pod? You saying it's better to have a pod rather than relying on a absolute correct captain choice?

Yeah mate, only 4 scores below 90 all year which includes 3 80's so he's been ultra consistent. Well you said Malceski was in a top 4 opponents team and all I said was it would cancel those players out if you meet him and you wouldn't rely on Hanley to beat him, but you'd reply on your other PODS to out score his PODS.. Get it?

diamw90

Yeah deffs get u... I'm leaning to eski now seeing his scores... I know u can't really do this but if u make hanleys 191 to a very good score of 120-130 his total average comes down to around 96 which is almost 10 less than eski... So really his inflated price is from that 191.  ATM eski it is!

If you take out Hanley's 191 score, you might as well take out the 35 he scored in round 4 when he got injured.

This then brings his average up to just over 100.

Tough choice, but I'd be leaning towards Hanley for the ceiling!

diamw90

Your absolutely right about that. Tough decision!

diamw90

Pills heavily in favour of Hanley but stats say eski... Arghhhh

Swoozie

Eski has been super consistent this year and rarely gets much attention from opposition teams. Wish I had him.

With the runs home and given that Hanley should be considered the number 1 tag option for teams against Brisbane, I'd be looking at Eski.

The poll is voted on by anyone at all, and may not necessarily be a wise choice. Ask the audience is not always a winning bet...
