Now the Brown dog has retired is there any chance Rocky could spend more time forward??
We know in the past that when he has it's really affected his scores.
Thoughts??

Hadn't actually crossed my mind, but a very good point. I wouldn't have thought so but you never know

Browny didnt play last week and look what rocky scored ;)

You would think the Lions would be trying to train someone up to replace Brown, not throw in a makeshift forward.  I think Rocky will be fine.

45 touches 12 tackles.

Only voss would throw him up there with those stats last week.

If anything I think this will work wonders for Stefan's long-term JS  ;)

- Moloney injured/not performing well
- Rich injured
- Black retired

Rocky won't spend any extra time forward than he has been, we need him in the midfield a lot more than we did last year. Merrett is playing forward most of the time now, McGrath is back, Staker back very soon, and Close looks like he could be getting a few games under his belt as well.

our forward line for tonight would include Bewick, Close, Merrett, Green, Zorko, McGrath with paparone floating around

lol

if Rocky wasnt in the mids the ball wouldn't even make it to the forward line

Think it has been and Rocky may rest forawrd for a short period,  He has interchanged with Zorko, Green and Bewick on a few occassions so can not see him stationed permanently with Rich out injured. He has steeped into the retired Blacks role nicely.

Merret will be the forward target with support from Martin, Close, Paparone and possibly McStay providing the other options. Staker will return in the next couple of weeks so no real need to use him forward,  Berger may also be used forawrd when he returns.
