Champion.  Sad to see him go out like this but I think its the right decision.

Ricochet

This champ wrote the book on being courageous. Absolute superstar of his era who bled for his club.

Looking forward to the Brown v Pav v Nroo debates in a few years time ;)

Words cannot explain how much he was valued at the club, especially these last few years. Absolute champion of the game, it's a shame to see him go out like this, but was clearly the right call. Most courageous player I've ever had the pleasure of watching.

All the best with your future beyond football Browny :)

So sad to hear this news today. An absolute legend of the club, who gave us everything he had. Will be sorely missed on and off the field. :'(

Very sad to hear this today. Still one of our best players and will be near impossible to replace him. I don't think he played for to long, as he was still a key part of our structure. Will be interesting to see how our forward line looks for the rest of the year, wouldn't mind Freeman getting a couple of games, or even Michael  :-*

All the best in your future life Browny  :'(

Legend of the modern era. Gun.

Footy and Brisbane won't be the same without him.

Great call big guy, where do you start with admiration for Browny? We admire the heart and courage but it's the gentleman inside that makes him loveable

Capper

Leppa said it all. He doesnt owe the club or the fans anything.

Did he play too long? Maybe but his mind was still able to get him through the games. Rest up now Johno you have 3 kids to chase around
