Guys, I am playing to win my league.
I have 14 trades and $41k in the bank. I am playing a fairly weak opponent this week and am wondering do I....
1. Do 2 downgrades to free up cash for next week i.e  Langford>Bews and Lloyd>Shenton to allow me to grab Pendles and Gray next week.
2. Trade Polec for Shenton and Lloyd for Buddy this week.
Or do I hold the trades as my opponent is weak.

Any advice would be appreciated as I am a novice here.
Team before trades..
DEF- Simpson,McVeigh,Swallow,Enright,Suckers,Langdon (Langford/Cutler)
MID- GAJ,Beams,Jelwood,Libba,Swan,Tyson,Polec,Rockliff (MThomas/Acres)
RUCK- Sandi,Minson (Currie/King)
FWD- Danger,Dusty,Zorko,Higgins,Cloke,CCameron (Ambrose/SLloyd)

What are your intentions with Thomas - Lot of cash sitting on bench.
Swan has been a disappointment this year as well.
If you were wanting to get rid of one I would trade them to a prem defender via Langford.  Langford is playing GWS this week so should increase further in cash for you.
Langdon has a high B/e but also a favourable draw so he may achieve his B/e. Langdon to Bews though will give you cash to hold as well.

Wait for team announcements and then decide which rookie to downgrade.  Langdon or Lloyd,

However you are right in waiting with no trades if you think you can win. Go with gut as to what you think is best.

Thanks Ringo, Will hold firm with Swan for 2 more weeks due to a soft draw.
One of the Lang's will go this week for Bews. I like that.
Cheers

Depending where you are on the ladder,, are you going to make the top 4 with no problems or are you sitting outside the 8?
